Here we are again - trying to figure out how to proceed in this crazy world! While we miss you all dearly, Aspire is following the Idaho Rebounds guidelines which effectively cancels any chance of theatre productions at this time. We don’t know when this guideline will change, but since we work so far ahead preparing a show, we won’t be able to produce either Thoroughly Modern Millie or Something Rotten. However, it is our hope that we will be able to produce Tarzan in June.
What does this mean for our season ticket holders?
Your tickets are safe and sound! Thank you so, so much for your patience and understanding that this is outside of our control. While we will be shifting our shows, if you hold tickets to the 2020-2021 season (Thoroughly Modern Millie & Something Rotten), you will be given first dibs on the 2021-2022 season. We are hopeful 2021-2022 will be kind to the arts and we’ll be back to producing the quality theatre you’ve grown to love. In fact, for the 2021-2022 season, we will be reverting back to three shows: October, February and April. Our production of Dream Roles & Miscasts was so well received that - due to popular demand - we will be reviving the show style and producing another version this summer in August.
As a thank you to our current season ticket holders (2020-2021), we will give you complimentary tickets to this second Dream Roles & Miscasts.
When will we announce 2021-2022 shows?
We have a few goodies to share! Keep a lookout for hints regarding our upcoming season, and we will share with you as soon as we are able.
We will reach out to all of those who have tickets in hand. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you, Aspire family, for your continued support. We love our community and can’t wait until we can share our gifts with you again!
In these unprecedented times, Aspire is doing everything we can to keep our performers and audience safe. Our home venue, the Kroc Center Theater, follows the mask mandate in Kootenai County. Therefore, we are strongly encouraging our audience members to mask up while in attendance. While in rehearsal, we have encouraged social distancing, hand washing and masking when possible.
Currently when seats are purchased, two empty seats are placed on each side to allow for social distancing. (The seats will have an "H" in them and will look "taken" on the seating chart.) Once in the auditorium, patrons may spread out even further, as reserved seating allows. The front-of-house staff will be available to assist with these requests. If audiences are uncomfortable with these protocols, or feel unsafe - we offer a virtual opportunity to enjoy our performances.
